Killdozer
Killdozer... Colorado Incident 2004 !! (Stunt Core) June 4, 2004, was an extraordinary day for the residents of Granby, Colorado, USA when an unknown terrifying mechanical monster emerged from somewhere and turned several buildings into piles of rubble... The situation had deteriorated to the extent that the American Air Force and Army requested tank destroyer teams at the scene. But how did all this happen and what was that mechanical monster called Killdozer? Let's go back a few years from this incident... Maroon Heemeyer, had a connection with Granby, where he was running a successful workshop and repair shop on his purchased property since 1992... In 1997, preparations were underway to establish a concrete factory very close to Heemeyer's property... The factory owners made Heemeyer an offer that if he wanted to sell his property to them, they could buy it at a serious price... Heemeyer had bought the land for $42,000... The company put a price of $250,000 on the land... but Heemeyer found this amount less than his expectation... He demanded $375,000 from the company... which made the company ask for some time to think about it... A few months later, the company gave Heemeyer an offer to accept... but... Heemeyer now refused the offer at his previously stated price and now demanded $1 million from them... Heemeyer's greed was what ruined his life... The company refused to pay such a large amount and instead started building a concrete factory on the current land. But unfortunately, the situation of the building was such that a part of it faced Heemeyer's workshop entrance... which posed a serious threat to Heemeyer's work...
Therefore, Heemeyer decided to appeal to the court against the concrete factory...
After that, for a long time, Heemeyer faced setbacks in court and suffered losses...
But his requests were repeatedly rejected by the court...
During this time, as a retaliatory measure, the company filed a lawsuit against Heemeyer, alleging that he was disposing of harmful materials from his workshop into the local drainage system, which was causing contamination of nearby water reserves...
As a result, the court issued a notification for an investigation into Heemeyer's workshop...
Unfortunately, during this investigation, it was found that indeed Heemeyer had been improperly storing some harmful materials from his workshop for a long time...
Upon this, the court fined Heemeyer $2500...
This news was reported in the newspapers, and Heemeyer's business reputation was severely affected...
Now Heemeyer's sorrow, anger, and frustration had reached their peak: ∆ Deprivation of hundreds of thousands of dollars due to the failure to reach a deal... ∆ Then the disturbance caused to his workshop due to the construction of the factory... ∆ Then the prolonged ordeal in court despite his efforts ended in failure... ∆ Then, instead, he faced a penalty, disgrace, and the destruction of his business reputation...
Many years of Heemeyer's life had already been spent on this case...
Heemeyer was suffering from severe depression, completely shattered...
And now, a single word danced constantly in his mind and heart... "Revenge."
He was determined to take full revenge on the concrete factory, the court, and the local authorities... and he had a comprehensive plan for it...2001
Initially, Heemeyer purchased a Komatsu D355A bulldozer and brought it to his workshop. He started working on its upgrades. He used steel parts and concrete to transform his bulldozer into an unstoppable machine of destruction. He attached several steel parts to his bulldozer and filled the space between the two parts with concrete...
For navigation, instead of drilling holes in his "bulldozer," he installed two cameras on its body, linked to monitors inside the cabin. To protect the cameras, he installed strong, bolt-proof transparent plastic casings around them... He even fitted compressed air nozzles with the cameras to blow away any dust and dirt from them, ensuring clear vision...
Heemeyer also installed two gun ports on his bulldozer...
Heemeyer's hand-installed navigation system in his workshop was cutting-edge, comparable to those in modern tanks...
June 4, 2004
Finally, the day of Heemeyer's revenge arrived...
He directed his bulldozer towards the wall of his workshop, breaking through it and heading towards the concrete factory. He started demolishing the factory's walls...
At that time, many workers were present in the factory. Initially, they couldn't understand what was happening and why destruction was occurring there...
But as they witnessed the strange and monstrous machine smashing the factory, they attempted to stop it. They tried to damage the bulldozer's frame using hammers, crowbars, drills, and every tool available, but they failed miserably...
One worker even tried confronting the bulldozer by riding a backhoe, but Heemeyer collided with it, causing severe damage...
Out of fear for their lives, the workers evacuated the factory...
After causing significant damage to the concrete factory, Heemeyer turned his bulldozer towards the town hall. The presence of this strange iron monster and the destruction of the factory led to a state of emergency in the town, and the authorities ordered the evacuation of the area...
Heemeyer continued to wreak havoc on the town hall, breaking it down completely...
Now surrounded by police cars, the bulldozer was cornered. The police issued warnings through megaphones for Heemeyer to surrender and exit the bulldozer, but in response, the bulldozer collided with a police car and disabled it...
The police opened fire on the bulldozer, but the bullets from handguns had no effect on it...
The next target of the bulldozer was a local newspaper office that had published articles against Heemeyer's workshop's harmful materials...This office was shattered by the bulldozer like tanks. The police now fired multiple shots at the bulldozer using shotguns, but not a single shot hit the bulldozer. In response, Heemeyer fired back at the police using the gun ports installed on his bulldozer, making it difficult for the police officers to aim. By the time the judge who was supposed to deliver the verdict against Heemeyer had passed away, Heemeyer had already destroyed his house where his widow resided... However, the population had already been evacuated. The police now targeted the cameras installed on the bulldozer in an attempt to deprive Heemeyer of visibility... but the bulletproof casings protecting those cameras couldn't be damaged. After demolishing the judge's house, Heemeyer turned his bulldozer towards the homes of those individuals who had opposed him in any way during the entire ordeal... He crushed several business opponents' properties. A brave police officer, Glen Trainor, dared to climb onto the bulldozer to try and find a way inside or any weakness to exploit... but he also failed in his attempt. After all efforts failed, the authorities requested the U.S. military to send an Apache helicopter to fire missiles at the bulldozer and destroy it. However, after some discussions, the U.S. military agreed to send a small batch of Hellfire anti-tank missiles instead of the larger missiles. However, during this time, while demolishing a hardware store, the bulldozer got stuck badly within twenty minutes... and despite multiple attempts, Heemeyer couldn't be dislodged from there. On one side, Heemeyer's mission was accomplished... meaning he had destroyed the properties or buildings of all those he wanted revenge from... and there seemed to be no way for him to escape from there. Therefore, Heemeyer ended his life by shooting himself inside his bulldozer... As a result of all this destruction, millions of dollars were lost. However, only one life was lost, that of Heemeyer himself. The police used explosive material to break the bulldozer's armored frame and extract Heemeyer's remains... and the bulldozer was scrapped.
